Jump to it with Boot 'N Toot
The bookmakers are giving precious little away on a trappy card at Chester and the pick of the early prices comes over jumps at Wincanton, where Boot 'N Toot (7.20) looks a value bet at 9-1 with Betfred.
A fair handicapper on the Flat when trained by Charles Cyzer, she was held back by her jumping on her first two attempts over hurdles but shaped much better when a fast-finishing short-head second to Classic Gold at Taunton last time. In receipt of a stone, she rates a decent bet to get the better of the quirky odds-on favourite, Woolcombe Folly.
At Goodwood, Badalona (4.10) has plenty in her favour. She finished a good second to subsequent group three winner Celtic Slipper on her only previous start here in a big-field maiden, and opened her account in determined fashion at Haydock in September. Well drawn, the 5-1 offered by Coral and Ladbrokes is fair.
