Realism to strike at Bangor
Realism (8.30 Bangor) looks much too big at the 14-1 offered by Betfred this morning and rates good each-way value.
A classy handicapper on the Flat, he has taken well to hurdles, finishing runner-up to the classy Albinus at Doncaster before winning impressively at Newcastle. The stiff track at Towcester would not have played to his strengths last time, when he finished fourth, while that right-handed course would also not have suited as nine of his ten career successes have come at left-handed venues. Well weighted for his handicap debut over jumps and with the useful Ollie Greenall taking off another 7lb, he can bounce back to form.
At Musselburgh, Stoic Leader (4.50 Musselburgh) has plenty in his favour. Fit, in-form and a five-time winner at this track, he looks sure to go well from a plum draw. At the 7-1 offered by William Hill, he is a solid each-way option.

Hey! Why the censorship?
