Stiffer test ideal for Bold Bobby Be

There again looks to be precious little value at Chester today and the best of this morning's prices is Bold Bobby Be (3.00 Nottingham), who is available at 8-1 with Betfred.

Bold Bobby Be showed ability in two starts as a juvenile but was forced to miss last season because of injury.  It is interesting that his trainer, John Dunlop, has persevered with him and Bold Bobby Be shaped with plenty of promise when a staying-on eighth over a mile here on his reappearance last month.  That run qualified him for a handicap mark and, with this step up in trip sure to suit, he can show his true worth.

On the betting exchanges, Tawzeea (7.40 Hamilton Park) is worth laying at around 1.7.  He is starting to look exposed after failing to win in four starts and again found less than looked likely off the bridle when third to Van Bossed at Ripon last time.
