Put your shirt on Sneijder at 20-1

With the future of Cristiano Ronaldo continuing to attract much speculation, bookmakers Paddy Power have opened a book on who will wear the No.7 jersey for Manchester United next season.

Ronaldo is 10-11 to retain the shirt, while Paddy Power offer 15-8 that the shirt is retired for the campaign. Among present squad members, Carlos Tevez is quoted at 13-2, Nani at 12-1 and Wayne Rooney at 18-1.

Sir Alex Ferguson, the Manchester United manager, refused to discuss the possible departure of last season’s top scorer to Real Madrid when appearing at a charity golf event at Loch Lomond on Monday but seemingly faces a battle to retain the 23-year-old.

One interesting name in the market is that of Wesley Sneijder, who can be backed at 20-1 to pick up the famous shirt.

The Real Madrid player excelled for Holland at Euro 2008, scoring two of the best goals in the tournament, and has been linked with a move to Old Trafford as a makeweight should a deal be struck for Ronaldo to go to the Bernabeu.

Poor Manchester. The difference between Ronaldo and Sneijder is that Ronaldo said he wants to move to Madrid and Wesley said he doesn´t want to go to Manchester.

Ronaldo has ruineddhus stay at Man U. Get as much as you can for Ronaldo, and buy Sneijder and Berbatov as a replacement.
Now you have a winner
