The Jobber can make class count
The Jobber (3.20) proved that he retains plenty of ability when winning at Yarmouth last week and is fancied to outclass his rivals at Leicester today. He rates a good bet at the 4-1 offered by Coral this morning.
The key to this seven-year-old is a strong early pace, as he tends to race too keenly otherwise, but with six of his rivals here tending to race prominently things should be set up ideally for him. He remains well weighted as he is running off an 8lb lower mark than when winning this race two years ago and, under his optimum conditions, he can strike again.
With the favourite, Times Vital, having been pulled out this morning Inventor (5.30 Kempton Park) rates a rock-solid each-way bet at 6-1 with Coral. The form of his recent course and distance second to Starfala is working out well and, off just a 1lb higher mark, he can go one better.
