Bees at 15-8 to sting County
Brentford get the vote at a top-priced 15-8 with Skybet to maintain their fine start to the season by beating Notts County in their Coca-Cola League Two fixture at Meadow Lane on Monday. The game is live on Sky.
The Bees are unbeaten in eight league games and will jump four spots into second place in the table if taking the opportunity that Monday’s game presents.
Their prospects appear good with strikers Charlie MacDonald and Nathan Elder forming a strong partnership up front and a well-organised defence limiting the opposition to few chances. Brentford have kept six clean sheets in their opening nine league games, conceding a meagre three times.
Manager Andy Scott believes the club has the squad to maintain a promotion challenge and a victory against Notts County would be another step in the right direction.
County lie twelfth, taking 12 points from their first nine fixtures, winning just twice. And, while Brentford have proven tough to break down, the Magpies have failed to keep a clean sheet in nine games, all competitions.
County are top-priced at 31-20 with VC Bet. The draw is available at 5-2 with Betfred.
