Leeds look home bankers
Leeds United look banker material at an acceptable 4-6 with Paddy Power to win their League One match at home to Brighton on Saturday.
United have made a steady start to the new campaign after their disappointment at losing the play-off final last season, winning five of nine games and suffering just two defeats.
Manager Gary McAllister left no doubt as to where the club’s priorities lay when making eight changes for his side’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy loss away to Rotherham on Wednesday and is likely to hand recalls to strikers Jermaine Beckford and Luciano Becchio, midfielders Jonathan Douglas and Fabian Delph, and defenders Frazer Richardson and Paul Telfer.
While McAllister is relatively spoilt for choice, Brighton manager Micky Adams finds himself short of options up front with Nicky Forster (knee) ruled out for at least a month and top scorer Glenn Murray battling to shake off a thigh strain.
Also in League One, Southend are backable at general odds of 10-11 at home to Stockport. The Shrimpers have won three of four home games this season and were extending their winning league sequence to four when triumphing 2-1 away to Yeovil last Saturday. Manager Steve Tilson is likely to field an unchanged side with striker Dougie Freedman (thigh) remaining sidelined.
Stockport have drafted in defenders Tony Kane and Jaroslaw Fojut on loan to bolster a squad missing goalkeeper Owain fon Williams and striker Peter Thompson on international duty.
Dropping down a division, Exeter could reward support at 3-1 with Paddy Power, Skybet and Ladbrokes to win away to Bury. The Grecians are on the fringes of the play-off places after posting successive league wins, following a 4-1 victory away to Macclesfield with a 3-0 home defeat of Gillingham. Manager Paul Tisdale is likely to keep faith with his winning line-up.
The Saturday Yankee is completed by Shrewsbury Town, who should have few problems landing general odds of 4-7 at home to struggling Port Vale.

I may be proved wrong but I think backing Leeds odds on at home will be a quick way to the poor house.
