Peter Grimes can give Dunlop a repeat

Peter Grimes (5.35 Folkestone) promises to relish a step up in distance and rates a good bet at a general 3-1 this morning.

The form of his third in a hot maiden at Salisbury last season has worked out really well and he has not been able to show his true worth in two subsequent starts, being hampered when sixth over a mile at Goodwood and then unsuited by a drop to seven furlongs when seventh at Warwick.

Back to a more suitable distance, he looks well weighted and can provide a repeat success for Harry Dunlop, who landed this race 12 months ago with Air Chief.
