Confront bookmakers at Ascot

Confront (2.50 Ascot) is surprisingly big at the 12-1 offered by Coral and Ladbrokes this morning.

He raced too keenly for his own good through the early stages when a disappointing fourth stepped up to ten furlongs at Ascot last time, while on his previous start he finished a good second at Epsom despite losing a shoe in the race. He remains with considerable potential and is more likely to be suited by the run of the race than Cesare, who needs a strong pace to be seen to best effect.
