Vettel 11-8 to post home win
Sebastian Vettel is a top-priced 11-8 with Paddy Power to win this weekend’s German Grand Prix.
The German star raised his bid to win this year’s drivers’ title when leading home a one-two for Red Bull in the British Grand Prix. The 22-year-old will be making his first Formula One appearance at the Nuerburgring and is bidding to become the first home winner since Michael Schumacher retired in 2006.
Brit, Jenson Button, is a general 2-1 second favourite in Germany but remains the 1-4 favourite with Paddy Power to win the Driver’s Championship. However it looks like Vettel could be catching him up. Button’s odds before the British Grand Prix were 1-12.
Paddy Power said: “If Vettel keeps creeping closer to Button in the Drivers’ Championship we’ll literally be covered in skid marks as we’ve already paid out on the British driver as this year’s winner.”
