Storymaker at 7-1 looks booked for victory

Storymaker can provide a happy ending for his supporters by winning the Houghton Golden Wedding Celebration Handicap Chase (2.55) at Carlisle today.

The Sandy Forster-trained eight-year-old, who is generally quoted at 7-1, is well served by the combination of this stiff track and soft ground. And his absence since June is not a great concern because he generally goes well fresh.

The tip’s past two wins have been achieved at Carlisle and he is only 4lb higher than when gaining a game success here in March.

The opposition lacks depth and the majority are returning from a break. Mister Potter is feared most but he has always been inclined to make the odd blunder.
