Woods's niece gets in the swing
A booming drive, great touch around the greens, a flashing smile and a potential role model for black golfers the world over. Sound familiar? Cheyenne Woods is making waves in the sport that her uncle, Tiger, has dominated for over a decade. At 18-years-old, Cheyenne, who is the grand-daughter of Tiger’s father, Earl, from a previous marriage, competed in her first professional tournament last month when she missed the cut at the Wegmans LPGA. She shouldn’t be deterred, though – Tiger also failed to make it to the weekend when he first teed it up with the pros in 1992.
