The fringed shag

Trust Kate Moss (or rather her hairdresser buddy James Brown) to come up with a new hairstyle that looks so damn hot we want to take the scissors to our heads immediately. Although the trend-setting super only updates her do every few years, you can pretty much guarantee that when she does it will be a success. The look this time around? A long shaggy bob with a full fringe in front. If you need further proof it is the style of the moment, take a look at Mary-Kate Olsen's fiery orange fringed wig in the latest edition of US Harpers Bazaar.

I read the article on the Sunday it first appeared (might have been Saturday) 4 days after my hairdresser had cut my hair into the "Kate Moss" fringe - I actually call it the Daniela fringe but sure Hari's comments are pretty accurate, I do sometimes look like I have a wig on, although it's a very easy style to wear and takes very little styling - perfect for working mothers as I am.

Makes her look older, I think

she looks good with it

Let's watch her go through the excruciating process of growing it out this winter!

To be honest, I don't think this style is most flattering to Kate's features or face Shape. One of her most attractive features, are her widely spaced large eyes-which the long fringe obscures. It's a cool cut tho...*shrug*

Surely it's a wig?

We like the fringe...

just kidding.
