Alaskan Glacier Tow In Madness

I'm indebted to Alex Dick-Read of The Surfer's Path (which also has a great blog - check it out) for this footage. It's mindblowing. What next? Dropping in from the glacier?

That is insane. But where were the lifeguards?

Hang on. 'All natural' he says...

What, taking a jet ski all the way to the Pole to surf a wave from a glacier that just coincidentally calved when they were there (no explosive involved, of course)?

What a load of contrived bollocks - hardly surfing at one with your environment is it? Every single aspect of riding that wave was fuelled by fossil fuel technology (think about it).

Yeah, I've had a bad weekend so someone has to take some flak...!

Yes, I thought the 'all natural' but was a bit... incongruous, to say the least.

Great to see them contributing to global warming in such a positive way.. an example for us all (of what not to do, in case you didn't get the irony)
