Find the weirdest sights on Google UK Street View

It wasn't long after Google Street View first launched in the United States that people started to notice that some of the images captured by the Google camera crews were very odd indeed. So odd, in fact, that we were able to compile our own list of ten bizarre sights on Google Street View.

Well, now that Street View is available as an option with Google Maps in the UK, it can't be long before our very own oddities start to crop up.

You know what you have to do. We want to see the strangest sights in Britain, as accidentally captured by Google's teams on their travels.

Hit the search button and start looking around for things that catch your eye or your imagination. Or just make you smile, or even wonder: what the heck is happening here?

The Torchwood space-time rift is in evidence. If you circle around the fountains alongside the Cardiff Millenium Centre (Lloyd George Ave / E Bute St) you can see a couple of guys sitting in the pond, suddenly replaced by the fountains spouting where they once existed.

Indeed if you stand at the bus stop on Vauxhall Bridge Road just outside that building that doesn't really exist, and then look up to the very top of the building, you really have to wonder what really goes on in there :-)
