Special moments from Jose Mourinho's Chelsea career

It's been fun hasn't it? Love him or hate him, Jose was never boring. Here are some classic moments from his time in charge of Chelsea.

Martin Samuel, The Times Chief Football Correspondent, picks Chelsea's 4-2 home victory over Barcelona in the Champions League as a major highlight of Mourinho's reign. John Terry inspired the victory despite a sensational goal from Ronaldinho.

Mourinho was never short of something to say, but in an interview after Chelsea secured their first Premier League title at Bolton Wanderers in 2006 he was almost lost for words:

Jose keeps his emotions in check after Didier Drogba equalises for Chelsea against Barcelona at the Nou Camp:

Mourinho enjoyed many run-ins with his fellow managers. Here he describes Sir Alex Ferguson's poor choice of post-match wine and what he intends to do about it:

Now we're just getting lazy, so here's a compilation of Mourinho's greatest soundbites:

And finally, for all the Chelsea fans out there who are missing Jose already, here he professes his love for you after winning the 2007 FA Cup:

To replace the phenomenon of Jose Mourinho with Avram Grant, is like replacing Brazil Football national team with Roy of the Rovers, the level of competence is so wide. It would be wrong to blame the squad for the errors made in the match on Sunday. Yes we saw Saha make a meal and in the end dive, (I thought referees were supposed to spot that sort of nonsense, but he got away with that) as they also did getting a player quite unjustifiably sent off, referees need help of the camera and it should be a fourth official viewing and communication for 90 mins directly to the referee and linesmen.
But getting back to Avram Grant, he will stay there but the price is going to be very high, I predict that they will be put out of the European Championship, they will be lucky to qualify for the top four, they will lose player after player, not through anything other than end of contracts, see how they all pan out. Now it is over to you Messrs Roman Abramovic. Bruce Buck & Peter Kenyon, at the Press conference the latter two did not even have the courage to answer straight forward questions, but hid rather scrupulously behind legal jargon that has no bearing on reality of today. When Mr Mourinho stated that he was leaving no matter what results were at the club then I think that some had better look at themselves and see how they have acted, not good omens for the future are they?
