Should Rafael Benitez stay?

Rafael Benitez, the Liverpool manager, insists his team will get the result they need against Marseilles tonight in order to reach the knock-out stages of the Champions League. A victory in France will boost his standing with George Gillett Jr and Tom Hicks, the club's co-owners, before the big Premier League clash with Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday. The Spaniard has a showdown with the two Americans later this week after he questioned their knowledge of the European transfer market and his future on Merseyside could rest on the outcome of the meeting.

Rafa should leave liverpool F.C for sure or embark on a crazy rollcoaster ride until the end of the season . This reminds me of the good olds of terry Vs alan sugar at sprus. Leave while you can rafa or the more you win the harder the fall.

Rafa is a legend and is still building, to even consider letting him go would be insane!!

It's unbelievable that people are talking about Rafa getting fired after taking us so far from the bad days at the end of houllier's reign. To cut him loose now will set us back years!!

I am not a Liverpool fan but I respect all member of this big family, who works for F.C.Liverpool. I think Rafa is the perfect choise for them and I don't understand the owners. Benitez has all skills, what a big football manager needs and he will prove this.

Best wishes to the Club:
