Bit pedantic but...Mikel is Nigerian
not Ghanaian

Posted by: Coco | 31 Jan 2008 09:13:56

Just to clarify - Mikel has only been sent off once in the Premier League this season, away to Manchester United. He was also dismissed in the Carling Cup at home to Everton.

Jon Obi was not sent off at Pride Park against Derby County, it was his Ghanaian teamate Michael Essien.

Mikel has undoubtedly been sent off twice, away to Man Utd and away to Derby County! I was on for all 8 until that came up!

Didn't Jon Obi Mikel get two red cards?
