The FA Cup quarter-final draw

Right, here's the draw:

Sheffield United or Middlesbrough v Cardiff City
Manchester United v Portsmouth
Bristol Rovers v West Bromwich Albion
Barnsley v Chelsea

So, Manchester United have avoided Chelsea but got the next most difficult opposition in Portsmouth, while Avram Grant's side travel to Liverpool's conquerors, Barnsley.

Bristol Rovers, of League One and the lowest-ranked side left in the competition, have an excellent chance of reaching the semi-finals thanks to their home draw against West Brom.

If they overcome Sheffield United in a replay, Middlesbrough have a good chance of progressing after being pitched against Cardiff City at home. Ties will be played on March 8 and 9.

Dominic,
I doubt Sir Alex has anything to apologise for since we drew yet another Premiership team in the cup unlike Liverpool and Chelsea who have been drawn against a variety of lower league opposition. I think the last non-Premiership club United got in the FA Cup was Burton Albion two years ago.

Doies this mean that Fergie will be apologising for his accusation of a fix in the draw? When he said that Man Utd would definitely be ptiched against Chelsea, and that he would need to 'check the balls' at the draw? Or will the FA have the bottle to do him for such unfounded allegations?
