Who will finish fourth in the Premier League?

Liverpool moved into fourth place in the Barclays Premier League for a couple of hours on Sunday after a 3-1 victory at Bolton Wanderers, aided to some degree by the helping hand given to them by Jussi Jaaskelainen, the home goalkeeper, who fumbled a Steven Gerrard shot in to his own net. Everton, though, responded in equally emphatic fashion later in the day by beating Portsmouth at Goodison Park by the same scoreline, to leapfrog back over their Merseyside rivals.

All the indications are that it will be an enthralling battle to the last day of the season for the final Champions League spot, with other teams also looking to stake their claim. Aston Villa gained a very creditable draw at Emirates Stadium and judging by the boyish-looking smirk on the face of Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal manager, at the end of the match, deserved to have departed with all three points. Blackburn Rovers were outplayed at Newcastle United but still managed to come away with a victory, and although Manchester City and Portsmouth's form has nosedived a little of late, they are as yet still in contention.

In today's TheGame poll, therefore, we ask you who do you think will end up finishing fourth in the Premier League? Please cast your vote and leave a comment below.

This is a much better Everton team than the one that finished 4th 2 seasons ago. I also wager the only ones convinced that Liverpool with finish 4th are the Reds' supporters.

Everton have been consistently better than Liverpool this season. David Moyes is a stronger Manager than Benethus and the players play for each other better than the Reds who just play for themselves - so it has got to be the Toffees' year!

Having watched Everton in their last two games against fellow challengers Man City and Portsmouth, you have to be impressed by their resilience. They work for each other, they stay in the game for 90 minutes and - most importantly - their goals come from a number of different players.
Liverpool will be the bookies favourites, but I don't think they have the same mental strength as Everton

I am an Evertonian, but would of always had Liverpool down for fourth. Not this season though, the way Efc are playing as a team is amazing.
I am practical in saying, we are not good enough to beat the top 3 consistently this year, but are solid enough to be the best of the rest.
