Scouting Report

Player: Servet Cetin (Turkey and Galatasaray)
Verdict:
Gives strikers nightmares
From some angles the 6ft 3in man mountain appeared to be towering over the Alps, and certainly made his presence known to Nuno Gomes, who felt the centre-back’s breath on his neck all evening. Looks like a roadie in a heavy metal band, and just as friendly, though would relish the physical nature of the Barclays Premier League if any of the clubs are brave enough to take him on.

Jose Bosingwa (Portugal and Chelsea)
Verdict:
What a waste of money?
Chelsea fans tuning in to see what 16.2million buys you these days will have been disappointed. The 25-year-old showed plenty of ability going forward, though like the previous big-money right-back signed by Chelsea, Juliano Belletti, was hesitant at the back, making Paulo Ferreira look reliable. Too early to right him off entirely, but the huge transfer fee looks like another generous gift from Stamford Bridgeto FC Porto.

you english people have the best championship of the world, but that exist because the quality of the defence of the teams are a disaster, they don t have any skills, and the prof of that is that youre not in the european! you can´t go to european if the young players of england suck! the best players of england championship are always from other countries. examples, ronaldo, drogba

you don t know what your saying, bosingwa is a great player and you all gona see it! them you gona be sad for that words! he is fast and very good in the defence

I can't figure out why you haven't scout Joao Moutinho. For me he was the best player of the match, always running always full tempo. Don't forget this was his first major game. For a small lad its amazing how he manages the midfielde, the right man to inhert the number 10 shirt of Rui Costa. The Eglish Teams should pay attention,in spite of my believe being him ending up Italy. Enjoy!

I must have been watching a different match, because Bosingwa looked pretty decent to me, both defensively and going forward. Ferreira, on the other hand, was getting mugged constantly by Kazim-Richards. He may not even get on the Chelsea bench next season.
