Do you think Spurs want to get rid of their best players? How can they keep them when they do not want to play for the club?
This would be an impossible situation. They have to make the best of a bad job an obtain as much money as possible for them.

Any player is only as good as his determination to play well.Whilst Keane (to date) never appeared to give les than 100% effort the same can not be said of Berbatov who looked too casual by far for most of last season. His loss will be made up in part by getting someone who will give his all. However for Spurs to loose Keane as well would be a massive blow!

of course they want to hold them, but when a player's head has been turned by CL football and a move to a club in the top4 year in year out - not too mention the current european champions and the other lot being the champions twice out of the last 4 years, it is a little hard to stop it affecting your players and making them want to leave.

What is it about Spurs?? They buy qualiy and appear to wish to lose some of the best strikers in the land. Surely Ramos can see that it should be a priority to retain the services of their main forward partnership if they are to move forward into the upper reaches of the Prem. The fact that Berbatov and Keano are such hot propity should convince the management that they must hang on to thses top players - at any cost.
