Suggest Spurs offer: Bent, Chimbonda, Kaboul, Zakora,Boateng, Daniel Levy, Damien Comolli, the cockerel and 10 season tickets to watch Accrington Stanley.

Bentley will do well for Toddling Hop-Sprayers.

And because he left Arsenal to get regular football!

£17m is crazy money to be honest. I read somewhere that Inter were on the verge of signing Quaresma for £19m - i know which one i would prefer.

Bentley came out and said he wanted CL football - and now he's saying that Spurs or Villa would be alright too. Hahaha.

The only CL teams that might be interested are Arsenal and Liverpool. I think £17m is too much for either of these clubs to consider him, as neither like paying over the odds (unlike Chelsea and the Mancs).

Reckon he'll go to spurs and underachieve!
