Worst famous fans poll results: Hitler worse than Brand - just

Worst_famous_fans_poll

It's official. Russell Brand is not worse than Hitler, although several of Andrew Sachs' relatives may disagree.

The Schalke-supporting Fuhrer has inched ahead as your least favourite famous fan with 18 per cent of the vote in our poll, just ahead of the frightfully coiffeured phone botherer 'comic' who wasn't at all happy at being included, although 16 per cent of you thought we were spot on.

The team-switching Tim Lovejoy appeared to take his appearance on the list with better grace which is just as well as he finished a clear third ahead of Gooner Osama Bin Laden, while Benito Mussolini sneaked in ahead of unlikely Exeter fan Michael Jackson and the autocratic Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone to take fourth.

In a victory for common sense, the Shrewsbury Town supporting Derek Smalls from Spinal Tap got no votes at all which was heartening, even if he is a fictional character.

Jim Bowen and Ricky Hatton also got a huge vote of confidence with big fat zeros, while disappointingly the preternaturally idiotic Timmy Mallett managed only a measly 1 per cent, despite his teeth-grindingly irritating performances on I'm A Celebrity.

I do not know more than 50% of the people on this list. You call this news?

Isn't comparing Russell Brand (who makes childish jokes) to Hitler (who killed millions of children and their parents) slightly distastful?

Am I the only one to think this?

I live in Germany, I dont recall Hitler attending too many games recently, is that why he was voted the worst fan? Or was it based on more than attendance? That said, if he did attend, he would only invade the pitch.

how on earth is Gen. Fransisco Franco on the list ????????

Lovejoy is one of the most annoying commentators ever. Im sure he is a nice bloke but he says so many stupid things. I remember after England drew 2-2 he said Capello should play Lampard and Gerrard in the middle. Right cause thats worked so well in the past. TOOL!
Atleast Alan Green is exciting and makes some good points.
