I THINK AGUERO IS GOING TO STAY IN ATLETICO DE MADRID AS HE LOVES THE CLUB.IN ADDITION TO THIS, FORLAN IS ALSO STAYING MORE YEARS BELONGING TO ATLETICO DE MADRID, AND NO RICH CLUBS WILL COME TO MADRID TO STILL OUR ASSETS. THE MONEY WONT CHANGE THE VALUE OF BELONGING TO ATLETICO DE MADRID.CHELSEA IS ONLY KNOWN IN EUROPE BY HIS BOSS ABRAMOVICH, IT DIDNT WIN ANYTHING IN EUROPE. IN THE OTHER HAND, ATLETICO DE MADRID HAS MORE VALUES AND HISTORY THAN CHELSEA.

Posted by: JUAN ANTONIO | 10 Jun 2009 10:01:02

Currently Atletico Madrid is nothing in the world. Kum will sign with another club that allows him more possibilities and more money, also Forlan will take this opportunity of signing his last good agreement, if he wait for......

Posted by: JULIAN | 10 Jun 2009 15:22:26

i think its time to face facts, aguero is gone, and its likely that forlan will leave too.

Posted by: Oliver Bland (chelsea season ticket holder) | 10 Jun 2009 16:53:12

No, no, Juan Antonio! Atletico haven't got a history. Every one knows it's only Liverpool who have a history!

Ooooops! Sorry about that! For a minute there I thought I was a Scouser. I have to take my sedative now. Bye!

Posted by: Barrie Collins | 10 Jun 2009 19:16:34

Hmmm, an Atletico fan perhaps? It always makes me laugh when fans of a club are adamant that a player wont leave, based on the fact that they themselves love the club so much.

Aguerro won't waste his career at Atletico.

Posted by: jimbobsmith | 11 Jun 2009 00:37:44

Aguero will learn what muscle is at Chelsea cause they have less actual footballing skills than most Spanish clubs. He most definately won´t improve. What a crying shame, crying all the way to the bank

daily transfer news wanted by me

Posted by: bharghel | 12 Jun 2009 08:51:28

its not about history anymore, its about what u can do and how good you are at present, & considering this, chelsea is the better of the two clubs for AGUERO.

Posted by: oladele | 12 Jun 2009 14:40:47

to Juan Antonio.

Who cares of the history of one team and the other. Chelsea has been a champions league active team, reaching semifinals and lost last year finale against ManUtd on a shootout.

What is Important is the "present", the present tell us that Chelsea is way better than Atletico de Madrid, with facts.

Posted by: Joao | 12 Jun 2009 21:48:37

To Joao.

With all respect, history is everything! That is what makes a big club such as Real Madrid, AC Milan, Liverpool, Man U, Barcellona and few more.

Look at Kaka, he rejected Man City offer because he wanted to go from a big club full of history to another. What Real Madrid acvieved last few year, the answer is nothing but because of history Real Madrid is still one of the biggest clubs. Regarding Chelsea, they have no history but you are still talking about their short history lol, regarding semifinals and finals without winning any! Be assured if Chelsea offered same amount of money for Kaka and Ronaldo they still choose Madrid because.... yes of history!

Posted by: EmV | 14 Jun 2009 00:14:09

Atleti has a poor international record 2 trophys. The one of Chelsea isn't that bad for a team people think of having a lack of history 3 trophys and 2 with wins against a the real deal in madird namly real madrid... ohhh by the way looking back over the past 17 years in the premierleague chelsea are ranked 3rd in the all time table of achieved point in these 17 years (ahead of liverpool) and Roman has only been 6 years with us... do your homeworke before you make ridiculous comments because knowing the facts you should see that some people are just talking nonsens. PS: Aguero for Chelsea

Posted by: CFC Blue | 14 Jun 2009 03:40:10

chelsea should buy robben back and forget about ribery. We should also try to get Ageuro. Chelsea will get rid of deco and i think we should give madrid Kalou and 5million fr Robben and then we will have a yonger sie and we can win the prem. Also it would cost less.

I'll be happy to receive those alert

Posted by: Richard Mndolwa | 15 Jun 2009 06:49:51

well im r.madrid fan but althoug this can sound wierd (because they are our second rival) i belive atletico to have further more history than chelsea.... its not that im under estimating chelsea but historicly they have less weight than atleti... although that wont stop kun from a possible sign with them if the sign him a nice check lol

Posted by: Nach | 17 Jun 2009 09:13:31

Am i the only one who thinks David Silva and David Villa would fit perfectly into the Manchester United squad right now? would get both for less then Ronaldo and both would be more influential against the big teams.

Posted by: Chris Milczarek | 17 Jun 2009 10:33:40

long served utd fan, utd!!!!!!!!!! valencia quality player fit right in, whats the comotion about! sign tevez thats it, bid 25mil whats so hard about that, quality player brings energy to the squad...hurry up and sign him...nani filling ronaldos boot, are you aving a laugh, cause i am, not worth 17mils loan him out...bring eto'o world class, and benzema utility player fit right in...hurry up and sign those 3 players...

Posted by: wongage | 17 Jun 2009 12:05:10

Why kaka goes from milan?

Posted by: Danish | 18 Jun 2009 09:00:10

sell alonso.Get Drogba & silva.gerrard back in a attacking midfielder role.....19th title guaranteed

Posted by: nitin | 27 Jun 2009 17:16:36

aguero would only go to chelsea because of money and if anyonethinks any thing else then they need to pack up and go and follow tennis? aguero has no link with any players that are at chelsea, his life is settled in spain, he has always wanted to try the premeirship but id put man ud and liverpool above cheslea as team she would join, hed only go for money and that is clear.

anyway ho the hell are chelsea, still wastig money and getting no where near winning the champions leaque, god i hatethis club, barca who,,,,,

Posted by: samuel charles | 29 Jun 2009 09:27:24

After having followed Chelsea when Osgood,Harris,Cooke,Hudson played I now know why I have been an Atletico fan for so long,it´s got something to do with soul not money nor power.

good football fan

Atlético de Madrid is different from any other team all over the World, 'cause is really difficult to live in the same city that R.Mad and have near 1 million supporters just in Madrid.Atletico's fans are really proud to its colours and its History. It's something more than money, trophys,Kakas,Ronaldos and others. Its something about honour and loyalty. Am talking about R.Madrid but its the same with Chelsea.Just money...

Hi there
I have a feeling that unfortunately arsenal is having financial problems and that is why AW not buying players..

Posted by: John | 21 Jul 2009 18:26:54

I think there are two sides to a coin and a coach knows what he wants, what his objectives are either to be a winner or an entertainer like wenger does with his baby gunners.
He could choose to burn the millions;buying success or he make do with what he already has, mentally chelsea are the strongest side in the premiership though i am a gunner 4 life, i still know that!

But i wish wenger will undertsand that in the last five seasons in the EPL, more has answered everything, the trophy, the big names where they want to ply their trade.

Posted by: John Peters | 29 Jul 2009 16:23:30

i mean money has answered everything in the EPl

Will ManU sign Douglas Costa?

Posted by: GULAM PATEL | 4 Aug 2009 17:42:33

I'm a little confused, Liverpool had ₤20 million to spend in transfer market. Glen Johnson cost about ₤18 million with a debt of ₤8 million that was still owed to Liverpool cancelled. In effect he cost us ₤10 million. We made another ₤8 million on sale of Leto & Arbelo, then a further ₤30 million on sale of Alonso. We've bought Aquilini for ₤20 million. By my math we should have roughly ₤28 million to spend. Can I ask why aren't we trying to get Silva from Valencia as well?
