Question: Which team beat Sutton United 8-0 in the FA Cup fourth round in 1988-89 after the non-league club had eliminated top-flight Coventry City in the previous round?

Yesterday I asked you: Which was the only season in which the top flight had an odd number of clubs?

Answer: 1987-88. There were 21, as a halfway house in the change from 22 to 20 clubs.

Question: Which was the only season in which the top flight had an odd number of clubs?

Yesterday I asked you: Who scored a penalty on the last day of the 2006-07 Premier League season to relegate a team for whom he had played for the first half of that season?

Answer: David Unsworth. His penalty for Wigan earned them a 2-1 victory away to Sheffield United to relegate their opponents – otherwise Wigan would have gone down.

Question: Who scored a penalty on the last day of the 2006-07 Premier League season to relegate a team for whom he had played for the first half of that season?

Yesterday I asked you: Aside from shoot-outs, which team have supplied the past three players to score a penalty in the FA Cup final?

Answer: Manchester United. Arnold Muhren in the 1983 replay against Brighton and Hove Albion, Eric Cantona in 1994 against Chelsea (he scored two penalties) and Ruud van Nistelrooy in 2004 against Millwall.
