Spinal Tap are reborn again (once more)
Every rock musician’s favourite imaginary band is reforming (again) this Summer in aid of Al Gore’s worldwide wave of Live Earth concerts scheduled for July 7. The band was originally assembled for the cult Rob Reiner comedy This is Spinal Tap in 1984, has since taken on a life of its own, with sporadic concert appearances, record releases, books and even a much-coveted Simpsons cameo. Christopher Guest, the actor who portrays Tap’s lovably clueless guitar god Nigel Tufnel, evidently feels that he can do more to sway the global debate with a Wembley Stadium gig and a 15 minute film short than he ever could by taking up his rightful place in the House of Lords as Baron Haden-Guest. If you, like us, can't wait to see the hapless heavy metal heroes perform again, then here are a few rare Tap moments to when your appetite.
**EDIT** - We found the new Tap Video. They're very much anti devastation. And now we return to our standard programming:
And of course, don't forget our previous Tap-themed post Lick my Love Pump in Lego.
