Scientology is rarely out of the news these days, principally because of its unique cadre of celebrity devotees. This week saw yet another high-water mark of Scientology news coverage with a row erupting between Scientologists and that other curious brainwashing cult, the BBC. We have a trifecta of videos for Hubbard fans today, with the John Sweeney shout-fest, a vintage L.Ron Hubbard Profile, and an abridged version of John Travolta’s cinematic triumph Battlefield Earth with all the dull bits taken out.
