Don't leave me hanging on the telephone
The news that Gordon Brown put the phone down abruptly on his former opposite number, George Osborne, should send shivers down the collective spine of business leaders. If the Prime Minister can’t even conduct a cordial telephone call, what hope is there for the rest of us?
